As the Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year, Gingerbread City supports vital programs and services provided at no cost—including support groups, counseling, education, advocacy, youth programs, scholarships, and more—ensuring no one faces epilepsy alone.

The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County is thrilled to invite you to participate in the 32nd Annual Gingerbread Structure Competition at the Gingerbread City Gala on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the San Diego Natural History Museum.
This year’s theme, “Hope for the Holidays,” is a chance to showcase your creativity, talent, and artistry while helping us spread joy, resilience, and hope throughout our community.
As a competing artist, you’ll:
Create dazzling gingerbread masterpieces that inspire and delight hundreds of guests
Gain community recognition for your artistry
Help raise awareness and support for individuals and families living with epilepsy

The packet includes competition categories, prizes, stipends, structure guidelines, judging criteria, and event details.
