The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County is partnering with Joey’s Song, an annual epilepsy benefit concert that started in 2010 shortly after Joey, a son and brother, died after battling epilepsy his entire life. The mission is to raise money for the “next family” that has to fight this terrible disease. 100% of the proceeds raised through the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego will stay in San Diego to continue our no-cost programs and services.

Joey’s Song Benefit Concert is going to be the biggest and most adventurous benefit concert to date. The live concert will take place in Madison, Wisconsin and will be broadcast worldwide, bringing us all together, from coast to coast.

The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego will be hosting a “watch party” right here in San Diego.

Each year, multi-platinum recording artist and 3-time Grammy winner Butch Vig brings his band of musical vagabonds (The Know-It-All Boyfriends, aka KIAB) to put on a one-of-a-kind concert. The KIAB serve as a house band to a steady stream of musical stars. While we don’t know yet who the guest stars will be in 2022, if the past is prologue, we should be in for another stellar line up. Over the years the performers have included Brian Ray (guitarist in Paul McCartney’s band), Miguel Cervantes (lead in the Chicago production of Hamilton), Sam Llanas ( of the BoDeans), Rhett Miller (of The Old 97’s), Chris Collingwood ( from Fountains of Wayne), Cory Chisel (Grammy nominated singer-songwriter) and many others.
