Planned Giving

You can create your own legacy.

What is planned giving?

Planned giving is a win-win approach to philanthropic donations that supports your preferred nonprofit—like the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego—and can benefit you now or in the future. Transferring assets is easy and offers great tax benefits. The reason this is called “planned” giving is that assets are not often liquid, have tax consequences, and are generally transferred via a will or other written means.

How would you like to make a gift to the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego?

I want to see my gifts in action during my lifetime.

I want to leave a legacy at the Epilepsy Foundation that will benefit the mission after my lifetime.

Thank you for your gift commitment.

In remembering the Epilepsy Foundation in your will or other type of estate plan, you’re helping create a lasting legacy that helps us carry out our mission in service of those affected by epilepsy.
