Volunteers make a world of difference! When we speak of giving, we usually mean money. But it is important to recognize that there are other – often more precious – forms of giving. Consider giving a little of your time, talents and enthusiasm to the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County.

Have you every considered:

• Helping with special events?
• Making presentations on epilepsy to children or adults?
• Raising funds?
• Helping with office work or mailings?
• Doing legislative advocacy for epilepsy issues?
• Providing technical expertise in computers or graphic arts?
• Being a parent mentor to another parent whose child has epilepsy?

Volunteer applications are required from each volunteer; waivers are required for each event; background checks are conducted at the Foundation’s discretion, and will usually concern volunteer opportunities which involve working with children.
