Volunteers make a world of difference! Consider giving a little of your time, sharing some of your talents or helping spread your enthusiasm. By volunteering you can help the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego support our mission to lead the fight to stop seizures, find a cure and overcome the challenges of epilepsy.

Programs in Need of Regular Volunteers

Family Support Group & Children’s Expressive Arts Program
Happening the 3rd Wednesday of each month (excluding December & July), 5-8:30 pm
Located at Girl Scouts Headquarters – Leadership Center,
1231 Upas Street, San Diego 92103

Duties may include registration, childcare (all ages) and crafts assistant for Expressive Arts Program - self exploration through the arts, working to build communication, social skills and each child’s own strengths.

Children’s Expressive Arts Program
Happening the 1st Wednesday of each month, 4:00 pm-7:15 pm
Located at Kroc Corps Community Center – Art Room
6845 University Avenue, SD 92115

Duties may include childcare (ages 6-12) and crafts assistant for Expressive Arts Program - self exploration through the arts, working to build communication, social skills and each child’s own strengths.

North County Parent & Adult Support Group
Happening the 1st Tuesday of each month (excluding December), 6:30-8:45 pm
Located in New Haven Youth and Family Services Building
1126 North Melrose Drive, Vista 92083

Duties include childcare (all ages).

Office Assistant
Occasional, as need.
Location at Epilepsy Foundation Office
2055 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego 92104

Duties include general administrative taskss under the direction of the Office Manager.



Special Events in Need of Occasional Volunteers

Gingerbread Kids!: Held annually each December. Duties may include pre-event preparation, onsite registration, childcare (all ages) and crafts assistant for holiday arts program.

Gingerbread City Gala: Held annually each November. Duties may include pre-event preparation, onsite registration and event assistance for annual fundraising gala

Sharon’s Ride/Run/Walk: Held annually April. Duties may include pre-event preparation, onsite registration and event assistance for annual fundraising event
