The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County announces the availability
of scholarships for the 2010-2011 academic year. The awards range
from $250 to $2500.
Eligibility:

A student being treated for epilepsy that is or will be enrolled
in a college, university or trade school for Fall 2010. The
student must show satisfactory academic performance, excellent
writing skills and demonstrate financial need.

Any full-time college or university student involved in an epilepsy
research project in the field of health or social science who has a
GPA of at least 3.0 for all work completed. You must provide a letter
from your professor documenting the project details. Demonstrated
financial need is required.

In addition, applicants must have a permanent residence in San Diego
or Imperial Counties or the southern area of Riverside County
(includes Temecula & Murrieta); however, they may be enrolled in a
school outside of these areas.

Applications must be received by June 1, 2010.
