People with Epilepsy) talks by specially trained H.O.P.E

| EFSDC contracts with the
Kids on the Block organization to provide puppet shows
on epilepsy, along with other disabilities, to elementary
school assemblies |
| Power to Prevent: Understanding
Epilepsy Curriculum |
|
Health & Safety curriculum for use in elementary
& middle school classrooms by teachers and school
nurses. It provides an understanding of epilepsy &
preventive measures to help reduce the risk of epilepsy
resulting from head injury or substance abuse. The
curriculum is available in the resource libraries
of elementary & middle schools in San Diego County,
or through the EFSDC office.
