A Holiday Gala and Dazzling Display of Gingerbread Creations
to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County

Event Description: A spectacular holiday gala for charity featuring "celebrity" chefs, spectacular, complimentary champagnes and wines, holiday music, exciting auctions, and a nationally recognized gingerbread structure competition that showcases creations by San Diego's leading chefs, artists, and designers.

Demographic: Hundreds of business, society, and medical leaders will attend the Gingerbread City 2004 gala. Thousands of local, national, and international admirers flock to see the exquisite gingerbread structures, which (with sponsor placards) remain on display after the gala.

Gingerbread Structures: Will be auctioned off at the Gingerbread City Gala and winners displayed at the Mingei International Museum and other prominent locations throughout San Diego County.

Promotion: Gingerbread City attracts a great deal of media attention. Articles and photos have been featured in San Diego Union Tribune, Getty Images: News and Sports, San Diego Magazine, San Diego Home/Garden, Ranch & Cove Magazine, and many other publications. Gingerbread City 2003 attracted an unprecedented week of television news coverage on seven different stations. This year, we expect media coverage to more than triple and dramatically increase the exposure of this event as it has become a premier event of the holiday season in San Diego.
